Homeward bound

Sunday morning we had breakfast with Larry at a diner called Norm's. The food was good and the diner coffee was great. It was fun to hear about Larry's projects, including a band we're looking forward to hearing. Proving that everything really is more expensive in California, on our way into the diner, a homeless man stopped us and said, "hey, could you spare $100?" Way to dream big.

After breakfast we drove around town and got a little lost trying to find the Fox studios. We did eventually find it but it turns out they don't give tours so we had to content ourselves with the view from the car as we turned around to go.

On the way back to Phoenix we drove past a huge windfarm near Palm Springs and David took this photo. We also saw a beautiful desert sunset and a full moon worthy of being airbrushed on the side of someone's truck.
