A Miller-sburg 4th of July

For G's grandma's 80th birthday we traveled to Millersburg, Ohio for an Amish country weekend. We ate real Amish food (including Broached Chicken), and saw many a horse and buggy. Most importantly, however, there was a lot of chilling and relaxing on the huge porch above the Amish Inn. Of course, when we got tired of relaxing little Mikey was always ready to play hide-in-go-seek (at least the go-seek part) and Jadon was a big fan of superman flying.

Since it was the 4th of July as well we all h eaded into Millersburg for a small town fair. Mike heard that they were in need of pie-eating volunteers and graciously stepped up to t he plate, so to speak. Although it may look like he's in shock, five minutes after this picture was taken he walked away with the first place trophy.
Finally, no 4th of July could be complete without fireworks. We headed down around 9:00 with Mr. and Mrs. C and watched from the courthouse steps.
