We had a low-key weekend and David worked some on Sunday. On Saturday we explored around Carefree - a small, artsy town about 30 minutes from Phoenix. We did some hiking and collected some rocks for a fountain David is making. We also went shopping in a fun outdoor plaza with fountains and copper statues. It's near a place called "Bloody Basin Road" which we avoided completely (for obvious reasons).
On Sunday I explored Chandler on my own. It's another suburb about 20 minutes from where we live. They have a mall and some discount stores but not much else that I saw. If anyone else knows about good things in Chandler, I'm up for suggestions...
