Today we went down to the annual Smithsonian Kite Festival and Cherry Blossom Festival. The kites ranged in size from a few inches to over 20 feet (the big ones couldn't seem to get off the ground though). It was really fun to see the national mall covered with kites! It was slightly less fun to try and make our way through the crowds of people all looking up and bumping into each other.
