This weekend we went to Berkley Springs WVa to check out the natural springs. The town was great but the "spa" was a little rustic. We had heard about the healing powers of the waters (George Washington supposedly traveled there from D.C. when he needed some refreshing). What we couldn't tell from the website was that the baths were taken in tubs in a big room with shower curtains around each tub. The ambiance left something to be desired.

After soaking in the water and filling up a gallon at the free spout, we walked down to a local hotel where they were having an annual water tasting festival. We tasted quite a few waters and filled out forms on our favorite packaging. They had water from everywhere, including municipal samples from Kent, Ohio and somewhere in Croatia. It's true, there is a festival for everything.
