Leaving behind the sun and 70 degree weather, David and I traveled to Ohio for Christmas. We had a beautiful white Christmas complete with snow, Christmas trees and family from near and far.
Christmas Eve we went to John and Shawna's where we saw Larry, Grandma Curtis, Nathan, Tina, Liam, Colin and Katherine - everyone looked great and we had a nice time watching the game and watching Liam play. John gave us a tour of his recording studio and his Dr. Who collection. If David didn't know who Dr. Who was before, he sure does now!

After John and Shawna's, we went to Aunt Karen's to play games and enjoy the traditional Miller family Christmas Eve. As usual, Karen made us all of our favorite treats, including pot roast and her famous cake mix cookies. Since Christmas is a magical time, I wished for Santa to bring me a big doggie bag to take our treats back home with us! After games at Karen's, we all packed back in the car and
Christmas day we spent the morning at Grandma's house and the afternoon with the Fairs while the Miller clan celebrated with dinner out. Wes and Pam hosted all the cousins, parents and kids for a holiday feast and a flurry of presents. It was nice to see everyone and my second Christmas wish was for us all to be together again before long.
Monday before we left to come back to the warm sunshine, Beth and Mike invited us over to spend some time with Michael Jr. He sure is a cute one and he was so sweet and good all morning until right before we left. They told us he was getting fussy because he was hungry - I like to think it was because he was saying "no, don't go" in baby-speak.
